All of the suppliers have some application notes on their website. Because the information is copyrighted, we are unable to compile it on this site. GIGAVAC has some information we link to. However, those are valid for all brands.

Rincon we know has some improvements in production technology which makes them available with significantly shorter lead times. GIGAVAC did most of the development of their DC contactors before year 2010 and then almost withdrawn all their R&D fundings. As mentioned on our Rincon page, Rincon was founded by the previous main engineers at GIGAVAC and updated the products with more up-to-date ingoing components and launched drop-in replacers during 2022 under the RINCON brand.

In our opinion, keeping production in the USA have given Rincon as clear upper hand in quality, while GIGAVAC moved out all production to China and Mexico which in turn has led to much more inconsistant delivery times (somewhere around 50 weeks!) and has also led to a clear drop in quality when delivery finally has been made.
